So cute! If he continues to hate getting a bath, one thing we found worked great (once the cord falls off) is just taking him in the shower/bath with you. Our son hated having a bath alone, but once we started taking him in with us (around 1 month) he LOVED it. I read that it makes babies feel more secure when being held.
it is scary! the other thing to try is to put a warm wash cloth over his body, and just remove parts to clean, that way he stays warm nor cold and wet.
