Hospital Yuck.

Well, most of our day was spent at the hospital doing lab tests, no fun!

But then we continued the changing table project!

Actually Kevin continued it, and it made my day oh so much better!

28 week post to come tomorrow.

Daddy & Baby.

I had a little time on my hands to do a mini photo op.

27 Weeks.

This was suppose to be my Tuesday post, but I was 
being lazy! Baby weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 
14 1/2 inches long. He's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening
and closing his eyes,and perhaps even sucking his fingers. With more 
brain tissue developing, his brain is very active now.

Oh Baby.

Yesterday, we went shopping for maternity clothes, and tried 

on the 7 month belly. aaand oh my I hope that's where my 

tummy stops. The 9 month belly is much more intimidating!

Before that they helped me register at BabiesRUs finally! So it

was quite a successful day!

The Newprint.

I changed the nursery blueprint a little since we've bought

a few things different from the last one. Hope you like!

....aaaand I just ordered this dresser! I can't wait until all his

boxes arrive!

Tuesday Thriftday.

I do have to admit, it is a little odd that I look forward to thrifting every week.

This past week I found all these goodies for $6! Although it is weird, I love

finding steals! Maybe my strange addiction will go away when Braylon arrives

and it will just have been crazy pregnancy thing!

Chair=Love.

I bought the chair. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Therefore
this puppy is getting the boot. I feel guilty, but it's the only thing I've bought
that isn't thrifted. So...oh well! I'm planning on staining the
bottom to match the crib...I can't wait until it arrives!

Braylon's Wardrobe.

I have a little shopping problem. But it's not my fault baby clothes 
are so cute! (unless they have cheesy sayings or cartoon characters)
I started hanging some things in his closet, but I've already run out of 
hangers...I still have more than half his clothes jammed in his dresser.

26 Weeks.

It's already week 26! Baby in now able to hear people talking,

and can recognize voices! He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of

amniotic fluid, for the development of his lungs.

Mission Complete.

We put the crib together!

 and i love it!

P.S. The room is a bit of a mess, and the crib is sitting on an old 

ugly comforter, we haven't picked out a rug yet!

Preparing for the Move.

 We did a little organizing today, and made room for my stuff in

the closet!

BAM! POW!

So, I've steered away from the nursery blueprint a little.

I bought some modern fabrics instead of the animal ones, not sure what

I am going to do with them yet but I wanted to do something a little different

than a typical nursery.

Side Note: What is with the ear popping & bleeding gums?

Craigslisting.

Monday was an exciting day for me. I can't believe I didn't put 

up pictures of our purchases! We didn't just get the bassinet

I love...but we also bought the crib I love love love! We

didn't even have to break the bank. We got both for $160! Plus the 
crib bedding already arrived bright and early!

Better pictures to come later! We still need to buy

a rug before we can put all his things in his nursery.

Can't hardly wait!

Ultrasound 3.

Today was our third ultrasound. Unfortunately for me, I had a crazy painful 
sunburn. Somehow I managed to make an ultrasound a tortuous 
experience. Braylon is the most hyper-active & shy baby at the same time.
He's always moving around like crazy, until we get to our ultrasounds! He had
his hands on or blocking his face the majority of the time and refused to
move around like usual.

Oh well..we got some good pictures!

Mother's Day.

Yesterday was our pretend Mother's Day. Didn't get 

a picture with my mom (we all got way into a game of Taboo)

but we did eat yummy burgers and kabobs.

The table ending up turning out even though 

I left the main bag of goods I bought to set it up at my

house!

25 Weeks.

I'm 25 Weeks! Baby is 13 1/2 inches and he weighs about a pound and a half.

So, where is he hiding! My belly doesn't seem too big?! He is 

supposedly starting to grow hair, but I'm expecting a baldy!

Shoppin.

 It's 4:30 in the morning and baby has me up! Luckily I have no obligations
today, so I'm up shopping online for bassinets and other good
stuff we'll be needing. Hopefully I can pick this one up later today!

 Plus, I finally bought the crib bedding I've been in love with for months! 

I can't wait to get it in the mail! Looks like I will be up for awhile,
Braylon has only just begun his dancing & somersaulting craziness! 

 

OHMYGOSHIMGOINGTOBEAMOM!

Today is Mother's Day! Braylon & I had to get up early

and head to work. When we got there, my manager had

this pretty corsage for me. At first I thought everybody recieved

one...but nope just for the moms! That makes my corsage my 

very first Mother's Day gift. I can't believe I'm 

going to be a mama! 

Sneak Peek.

Well, tomorrow is Mother's Day and unfortunately I will

be working so there won't be much celebrating until Tuesday.

Tuesday is our pretend Mothers Day! I had a little extra time
today to buy a few things for the dinner I am 

planning...here's a sneak peek!

Pinch Me.

I cannot believe in just over 3 months I will have a real life

kicking, screaming, laughing, adorable, lovable, takes up

100% of my time, don't have to give him back baby! After all

this time spent talking about him like he's already here and all 

the planning and things we've bought to prepare for 

him...it still doesn't seem real.
I can't wait to meet him!

Nom Nom Nom.

Tonight was 80's dress up night at work. 
Braylon dressed like Pac Man & I wore my
acid wash jeans! Pretty odd theme for for
Cinco De Mayo, but it was a lot of fun!

Dream On.

Well it's 2 am and Braylon has me awake as usual. 

 I swear the kid is swimming laps in my tummy. Aaand he'll 

start up again around 5:30ish. This has been going on consistently 

for two weeks! At least he's on a schedule right?

 Ps. We're listening to Lullaby Renditions of Aerosmith.

My awesome $2 find!

24 Weeks.

Time is flying, I'm already 24 weeks (6 months!) along and baby is about
9 inches long and 1.7 lbs. He's definitely getting stronger,
my shirt moves when he kicks,elbows, knees or punches me.
Who knows what he's doing in there!
Only 16 more weeks to go!
